Went shopping

American pickers have honey holes. I have supersecret junkyards. I spent 6 hours yesterday digging, cutting and scrounging parts off of cars that had just narrowly escaped a fire at one of my picking spots. Seems the yard owner likes burn piles, but not managing them. Here are my scores for the day.

Suedes are invading Watertown SD. Great run that the vintiques car club puts on.

Vintage spark plug display

I picked this from a little antique store that was part of the Suedes run 81 show back in July. I needed to fix it as it was coming apart and need to find a glass or plexi slide in front. It is pretty neat and I can't wait to use it in my next garage.
